#Case study# OASIS is an effective way to encourage equal contributions in team projects

From our latest case study on a general education course (GEK2021: Show Me the Money) of The Education Univesity of Hong Kong, we find out OASIS is an effective peer assessment system to prevent free riders.

There are two key takeaways we find from this case study:

  • OASIS encourages equal contributions by all team members for a project's timely completion;
  • When team members do not contribute equally, OASIS yields fair grading based on peer assessment data.
